Fakery in Bangkok

We all know that Thailand is renowned for its fake Rolex watches and “genuine copies” of designer handbags, however there is another kind of fakery that I have observed on this visit. I’m sure it was always there to some degree but this time it’s very pronounced and makes me wonder if the Thais are suffering a identity crisis.
